Welcome to blog.penitentman.com, a blog cataloging some of my life and thoughts through the lens of my Christian faith.

My name is Mike Mitrovich, and I’m just a guy who likes to discover new truths through writing and community. I love having my ideas challenged because it makes me more rounded and grounded, but hate it at the same time because I have a heaping helping of pride.

For years, penitentman.com has hosted a diary-like blog that only a mother could love, with the occasional meatier post thrown in. Feeling a desire to maintain both aspects of my online writing, I have broken the site into subdomains with more focused purposes.

My hope for the blog.penitentman.com site is that every post will be meaty. That every post would be worth discussing. That both my ideas and yours could be challenged and hashed out.

I hope that through analogies and conversation, we might find a way to share some space on this road called life. To travel together awhile and share what we see on the horizon or on the pavement right in front of us.
