We’re all on a journey. Some of us are on many. The journey of life. The journey of faith. The journey of parenthood. The journey of public education. The journey of recovery.
If you are reading these words, then for this moment in time, we have crossed paths on the journey. Now, you can certainly continue on your way and I can continue on mine. But instead, I stop and ask, “Care to walk awhile?”
We each have stories and insights to share. And in that sharing, perhaps we can contribute value to each others’ journeys. And when, for whatever reason, our paths diverge, we can look back with confidence and say, “That was time well spent.”
Now, obviously this is my blog, so the sharing may not be exactly “equal”. But your comments and email would sure make the journey less lonely and single-sided… hopefully for both of us.
For those familiar with the “old” penitentman.com, the blog should look decidedly different (and not just in physical appearance). What was once a haphazard diary of “what I did today” is moving to something more focused and intentional.
Instead of just posting when I feel like it, I intend to post a minimum of once weekly.
